Ranchi Smart City Corporation Limited is SPV (Special-Purpose Vehicle) incorporated on 30th Sep 2016 for the execution of smart city projects of Ranchi. Urban Development & Housing Department, Govt. of Jharkhand vide Memo no. 4552 dated 16.08.2016 acquainted the construction of Ranchi Smart City Corporation Ltd as the SPV to contrivance the Smart City Project. The aims and intents of the company are as follows: To plan, strategy, develop, contrivance, manage, maintain, operator, and monitor the Smart City Development Projects for the city of Ranchi following Smart City Mission of the Government of India and State Government. Resource building in terms of financial and physical possessions for Smart City Project To acquire/purchase/buy land for Smart City Project and to transfer the same on the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Model.

Ranchi Smart City is a SPV initiative by Government of Jharkhand for the Citizens of Ranchi. Finding the solutions for ease of living and Urban Livelihood for Ranchi Citizen on the major path for providing the house, water, electricity, solid waste management, building structure, road maps for future investment and development of infrastructure for Ranchi. For bringing the solution for citizens inheriting the smart ways of models using the Latest Technology for Road Safety and sanitizing Ranchi form the wastes problems.
